Stephen L. McDonald, Sr. President, Funeral Director

Stephen, Sr. is married to Ann Boldon McDonald and is the father of four sons, Stevie Rodgers, Stephen, David and Kenneth McDonald as well as two granddaughters. 

 

He is the Owner and manager of the McDonald Funeral Home and Cremation Services and is the Third generation of the McDonald family to own and operate the funeral home. He is a life-long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County. 

 

Steve attended Picayune Public School System, the Pearl River Junior College and the University of Mississippi. He and Ann are members of the First United Methodist Church of Picayune, Mississippi.

 

Steve enjoys serving the community by way of numerous boards, committees and Civic and Fraternal organizations. He enjoys watching Sports, movies and visiting with family and friends.

Maegan Veazey Insurance Clerk

Maegan is a life long resident of Pearl River County.  She graduated from Picayune High School in 2007 and is married to Brannon Veazey and has two children Braylon and Emma Rae Veazey.  Maegan and family enjoy shopping and spending time with their familes. They are members of the Pin Grove Baptist Church.

Ann McDonald, who is originally from Arkansas, is the wife of Stephen, Sr. Ann is a Funeral Director and the Preneed General Agent for the McDonald Funeral Home. 

 

Ann and Steve have four sons, Steve Rodgers, Stephen L. McDonald, Jr., David McDonald and Kenneth McDonald as well as two granddaughters.

 

Ann enjoys walking, reading and her pets. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Stephen, Jr. is a Funeral Service Trainee and a life long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County. He attended Pearl River Central and Picayune School System and graduated from Picayune High School and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. During his high school years Stephen, Jr. helped his Mother and Father around the funeral home in various capacities.  Stephen resides in Picayune and enjoys playing music and reading.

Kenneth McDonald Administrative Assistant, Funeral Director Apprentice

Kenneth McDonald is the son of Steve and Ann McDonald. He is a life long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County where he attended the Pearl River Central and Picayune School Districts. Kenneth is a 2007 graduate of the Picayune Memorial High School. He also studied at Pearl River Community College.

 

During his high school years Kenneth has helped his Mother and Father around the funeral home in various capacities. Of late Kenneth has centered his work in our Insurance office and helping with funeral services as well as organizing office work and procedures. Kenneth began full time work in the fall of 2009 as a Funeral Director Apprentice and Administrative Assistant.

 

Kenneth is a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune.

 

In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys any and everything Ole Miss, riding pit bikes, playing disc golf, fishing and other sports. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Edward Dale Roach Funeral Director, Veterans Benefits Specialist

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Dale holds an Associate Degree in Safety. Dale also holds a Funeral Directors License. Dale is also a retired U. S. Navy Chief Petty Officer having served his country for 26 years. He also retired after 17 years from EMT National Maintenance Shipyard/American Commercial Marine Services.

 

Dale and his wife, Mary May Siebenkittel Roach, live in Carriere, Mississippi. Dale and Mary have 6 children. They attend the Roseland Park Baptist Church, Picayune, Mississippi.

Kerri Mitchell Bookkeeper, Funeral Director Apprentice

Kerri is married to David E. Mitchell they have three children Joshua, Keagan and Hunter. A native of New Orleans, LA., Kerri graduated from Picayune Memorial High School and attended Pearl River Community College. Kerri enjoys spending time with her family, reading, shopping and watching movies. Kerri is a member of Cedar Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and also attends Old Palestine Missionary Baptist Church. Kerri works in Bookkeeping, Life Insurance Claims Administration and is a Funeral Director Resident Trainee.

Monica Bowles came to Picayune from Ohio. She serves as a Funeral Director Apprentice and family contact representative at McDonald Funeral Home. Monica is also very involved in preparing funeral service forms and stationery.

 

Monica is a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She has two sons and loves reading, shopping and spending time with family.
