Isabel M. Smith, age 104 of Dothan, AL., died Saturday, November 08, 2008 in Dothan, AL.. Isabel Smith was a Homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1421 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS. .
She was born September 13, 1904 in Cardiff, Wales to the late Joseph and Bessie Sigsworth. In her twenties Isabel crossed the Atlantic on the "Queen Mary" and eventually settled in New Orleans. She lived a vivacious and adventuress life, filled with a love of music, cooking and knitting and an undying devotion for her friends, family and church. .
The deceased is survived by: one son, Peter Zimbelman of Robbinsville, NC. and his children; Kris Zimbelman and family of Oklahoma, Ken Zimbelman, and Carrie Zimbelman. She is also survived by five grandchildren from her late son, Frank A. Zimbelman II; Frank A. Zimbelman III, his wife Beverly and their two sons: Ryan and Jack of Daytona Beach, FI; Debra Mooradian, her husband Greg and their son: Max of Los Angeles, Ca; Todd Zimbelman and his wife Shelly and their daughter Karen of St. Louis, Mo.; Lori Zimbelman of Meridian, Ms.; and Jensen Byrnes, her husband
John and their two children: Michael and Rebecca. Isabel is survived by many friends that have known and loved her as well.
