Gladys Mae "Nane" Gill, age 99 of Picayune, MS, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in Picayune, MS.
A native of Pearl River County, MS, she was a homemaker. She served faithfully and tirelessly as everybody's Nane teaching Sunbeams, Sunday School, Training Union, Bible School and as Director of Preschool Department at Union Baptist Church for many years. In addition, she and her husband helped organize mission churches in Pearl River and Hancock Counties.
Loved and missed by her family and friends, Nane will be celebrating her 100th birthday in Heaven.

The deceased is survived by: her daughter, Cindi Capooth of Picayune, MS; her son-in-law: Kent Capooth of Picayune, MS; two grandsons: James Nathan Walker and Jeffrey Drew Capooth; one granddaughter: Arielle Faith Capooth; one great-granddaughter: Kolbie Layne Smith; Glenn Dunaway of Slidell, LA; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and generations of children at Union Baptist Church.

The deceased is preceded in death by: her parents: Madison Randolph Jones and Ella Mariah Jones; her husband of 47 years: J.D. Gill; and 12 siblings.
