Eugene Elmer Ladner, age 82 of Necaise Crossing, died Sunday, July 11, 2010.
He served four years in the United States Air Force. He taught school in Collins/Salem, MS, Bay St. Louis, was the Principal of Saucier Elementary School, and served as the Superintendent of Education of Hancock County School District. He retired with 35 years of service.
He is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Viretta Ladner; his children: Sandra Owen and husband Wayne, Loraine Necaise and husband Gene, Donna Johnston, Kim Ladner, and Kent Ladner; his grandchildren: Berry Necaise and wife Marian, William Moran and wife Kendra, Marisha Nores and husband Bob, Melissa Brignac and husband Bobby, Nicholas Johnston and girlfriend Arrie, Ashley Allison and husband Brent, Dakota McGill, and Kenly Ladner; his great-grandchildren: Shawn Carpenter, Jessica Brignac, Katie Nores, Kaela Necaise, Bryan Brignac, Victoria Nores, Meagan Brignac, Bobby Nores, Erica Ladner, Alyssa Rondinelli, Gannon Necaise, Blake Chopin, Landon Brignac, Gavin Necaise, Avery Allison, and Peyton Allison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix (Bill Cap) and Ethel Ladner; his sisters: Ina Mae Flynt and Margaret Ladner; and his brothers, Frances Ladner, J.C. Ladner, Roy Ladner and Kenneth Earl Ladner. . | |
