Carmella "Mel" Schlottmann, age 81 of Carriere, MS., died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Covington, LA..
A native of Marrero, LA, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mel was a member of the church choir. Her residence was located in Hide-a-way Lake community. Mel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed. .
The deceased is survived by: Beloved wife of 61 years to Arnold Joseph Schlottmann. Beloved mother of Richard Arnold Schlottmann (wife Joan), Glenda Schlottmann Bartley (husband Patrick), Gary Brian Schlottmann, and Troy Eric Schlottmann (wife Rachael). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, April Labat Arnone (husband Robert), Craig Schlottmann (wife Shannon), Timothy Labat, Dawn Schlottmann, Kelly Hotard, Tristan, Kyan, and Braydan Schlottmann.
The deceased is preceded in death by: her parents, Luke Henry Collura and Catherine Paternostro Collura, her brothers, Anthony and Angelo Collura, and her sister, Mary Collura. | |
